Upcoming events in January are the Chili supper and the Thank You Project . We will also be choosing a destination for Senior High Mission Trip.

Chili Dinner

Sunday January 8th the First Presbyterian Youth Group will be serving the annual chili dinner. We are expecting a large crowd this year. There will be only one service Sunday. Robin Ray the candidate for Assistant minister will be preaching and there will be a congregational meeting immediately following worship.

Our menu will be Chili, cornbread or italian bread, applesauce, and dessert. We are going to split up the preparation duties:

Saturday January 7th
The Junior Highs will be preparing brownies and cornbread from 10:00 -12:00.

The Senior Highs will be preparing the chili starting from 12:30p-2:30p

Sunday January 8th
We will need to last minute set-up, server the meal, and clean-up. We will be serving Buffet style and using the church china and silver. I am hoping clean-up will be finishing up around 3:00ish but not knowing how long worship and the meeting will last it could be different.
